With Hnry's "Allocations" feature, you can set aside a percentage of your income to be deducted each time you get paid. You can choose to set up as many Allocations as you'd like and at any percentage you'd like, so long as your total Allocations don't exceed 45% of your income.
One of the options on offer is One Percent Collective, NZ’s movement for a better way to donate.
Setting up an Allocation to our friends at One Percent Collective is easy.
Step One: Join One Percent Collective
Before you set up an Allocation in Hnry you will need to sign up to One Percent Collective:
Join One Percent Collective
If you are already a member of One Percent Collective, then you're all set; skip ahead to Step Two.
One of the awesome things about One Percent Collective is that you get to choose which charities your money goes to. Once you've selected your charities, you'll be asked to select payment amounts and frequency. Here, you can select any amount you wish, but it won't impact your donation as such because it will be coordinated with how much you set up as a Hnry Allocation.
On the final page of the signup process, simply select donate via Online Banking but ignore the bank set up instructions as Hnry will take care of this part. Now you're all good to go! Thanks for your generosity.
Step Two: Use Hnry to automate your donations
Now it's time to allocate a percentage of your income to One Percent Collective.
Create an Allocation in Hnry and just enter your full name (or as much of it as will fit) in the reference field and the percentage you'd like to allocate.
